Today Quest Software has officially released vWorkspace version 7.5! I personally had the honor to test-drive the beta and RC releases. I’m really excited about version 7.5, it contains a great set of new features and changes! In this blog post, I’ll discuss some of the features introduced in the new release.

I have installed the Windows Developer preview of Windows 8 (client) on my lab. Time to check what’s new in the Remote Desktop Client in Windows 8. See the first screenshot below. Besides some minor design changes the client seems to look the same.

Microsoft released Windows Server 8 Developer Preview (pre-beta version) at the BUILD conference yesterday. While we don’t’ know when the actual release date will be, we wanted to share with you what we do know. Windows Server 8 is designed to manage groups of systems, and not individual systems. We are told that there is a PowerShell command for every action that can be done in the GUI.
